Canadian Immigration Official Processing Fees to increase, effective April 30

News Updates: Canadian Immigration Official government processing fees to increase from April 30, 2020. The government is adjusting immigration fees for the next two years! This fee includes the operational and processing charges.


Canada official migration processing fees to go up!

Below are the details about changes in fee:


  • The principal applicant processing fee will increase from C$550 to C$825.

  • Fees for spouses or common-law partners will go up from $550 to $825.

  • Fees for dependent children of all economic classes will go up from $150 to $225.

  • The right of the permanent resident fee will increase from $490 to $500, which is an increase of two percent. The IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada} says that permanent residence fees have not increased since 2002. Fees for permanent residence applications will change again in 2022 in accordance with the Consumer Price Index.
