Express Entry Draw #156 (PNP Specific) | NEW CRS SCORE | 22 July

July 22 - Breaking News: Canadian Immigration Authorities have conducted another Major Express Entry Draw for Provincial Nominee Program candidates. Details: July 22nd Draw has resulted in 577 invitations being issued to those who already got their initial nomination from any of the provinces in PNP streams! The minimum CRS cut off score was 687. This shows that even in this pandemic situation, Canada continues to strive for its immigration level plans for 2020 - 2022.

What is CRS?

The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) is a score out of 1,200 used in the Express Entry immigration system of Canada.

Many aspirants get confused between the cut off of the federal skilled worker stream which currently varies from 465 to 470 and this score 687. So we would like to clarify all that when a candidate gets nominated from any of the provinces he/she gets an additional 600 points in their CRS score. So for example, if a candidate had 87 CRS Score in Express Entry and he got a nomination from a province, he will get 600 additional points and will ultimately be selected in the very next round of Express Entry. A valid express entry profile is mandatory to be considered. This indicates the bright future for aspirants seeking Immigration to Canada through Provincial Nominee Programs in 2020.
