Canada's PNPs had a lot to say in the first week of March 2021. IRCC also released a report that the country welcomed about 24,665 new permanent residents in January 2021. This is comparable to Canada’s monthly intake prior to the pandemic. In fact, it is the strongest month for Canadian immigration since February 2020.

🎯 On Mar 2, Alberta’s provincial nominee program (AINP) issued 200 invitations to immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination with a CRS score as LOW as 301.
🎯 On Mar 2, Ontario invited 754 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination with CRS scores between 463 and 467,
🎯 On Mar 11th, Saskatchewan, the hottest PNP program, invited 248 PNP candidates under Express Entry & Occupation In-Demand stream.
🎯 On Mar 11th, Manitoba, the connection-loving province, invited 299 immigration candidates under three streams.
The strong start to this year suggests Canada is in a good position to achieve its ambitious immigration goal by the end of this year. If seasonal newcomer arrival patterns normalize, we can expect immigration to eventually surpass 35,000 monthly landings by the summer.
Express Entry is the main way Canada welcomes skilled workers to immigrate to the country mostly under Federal Skilled Worker or Provincial Nominee Program Visa class.
