  4. Pass enhanced background and security checks

Caribbean Citizenship Application Process

1. Confidential Eligibility Assessment

Review nationality, family composition, source of funds, immigration history and preferred investment.

2. Select the Country and Investment Route

Compare total family cost, property holding period, travel goals and future business requirements.

3. Apply Through an Authorised Agent

CBI applications must be processed through authorised or licensed agents recognised by the selected government. Applicants generally cannot submit directly to the citizenship unit.

4. Complete Due Diligence and Interview

Government authorities conduct identity, financial, criminal, sanctions and international background checks.

5. Receive Approval in Principle

Where approved, the applicant completes the qualifying contribution or approved investment according to government instructions.

6. Receive Citizenship and Passport

After the investment is verified, the government issues the citizenship documentation, followed by the passport process.

Contribution vs Real Estate

Government Contribution

A contribution is normally:

  1. Non-refundable
  2. Simpler to administer
  3. Lower in total initial investment
  4. Suitable for applicants who do not want property management

Approved Real Estate

Real estate may offer:

  1. Ownership in a government-approved development
  2. Potential resale after the required holding period
  3. Possible rental or investment returns

Returns, resale value and project completion are not guaranteed. Independent legal and financial due diligence is essential before purchasing any CBI property.
